Opening content in the Split View

The Association and Attributes list tabs are always shown in the Split View and are populated with information by selecting an item in the All Folders Tree or Hoist area.  Single clicking items in the Associated Items panel also opens the content in the split view by default.  Lists of tasks, search, keyword index and Highlighted Items search results can also be configured to appear in the Split View by default from the options.  Clicking on the [New tab] button will create a new tab with a blank page and enable you to enter an address in the browser address bar or browse your files to select a file to open.  Holding the Alt key while double clicking an item in the tree will force its content to open in the Split View rather than the Main Display.

With the exception of the Association and Attributes lists, content windows can be exchanged between the Split View and the Main Display by dragging a tab from its row to the row of tabs in the other panel.
