Customizing the Split View

Displaying and hiding the Split View

The Split View can be manually turned on or off from the View menu - [Hide/Show Split View A panel that appears within the content pane that displays additional information. ] button or by using the menu button shown here.  In addition, the Split View may also be closed by clicking on the x in the upper right corner of its display area.  The Split View may appear automatically whenever there is a need to display search or keyword results.  

Split View location

The location within the Content Pane in which the split view appears can be customized.  From the View menu select [Split view position] and click on a location in which to display the Split View panel.
